Unlike traditional screen recorders, VeloStudio operates entirely on your local machine using client-side WebAssembly technology (FFmpeg.wasm). Your media files never touch any external servers or third-party cloud infrastructure.

• Audio and Video Files: We do not store, view, or have access to the screen recordings, camera feeds, or audio files captured through our extension. All rendering, trimming, cropping, and stitching operations are processed 100% locally in your browser memory.

2. Information We Collect

To provide a stable and optimized user experience, we may collect minimal, anonymized technical data:

• Anonymized Usage Data: We may collect basic anonymized telemetry, such as extension activation counts, page views of the standalone editor page, and button clicks to enhance the performance of the software.
• Technical Logs: Basic system information such as browser version, operating system, and error logs related to WebAssembly modules to troubleshoot crashes and bugs.

3. How We Use the Information We Collect

Our primary goal in analyzing non-personal usage data is to ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable user experience. We may use this technical data to:

Since VeloStudio processes all core functions inside the extension's local origin environment, your high-resolution recorded chunks are safely isolated using standard browser data structures (IndexedDB). No data is transmitted cross-border or kept on permanent remote endpoints.

6. Children's Privacy

We strictly forbid the unauthorized use of our software by individuals under the age of 13. VeloStudio does not knowingly or intentionally collect, track, or request any personal identification data from children under the age of 13.
